March 24Journey releases their second live album, Greatest Hits Live 1982-83. The album is released in Japan on April 8th and in Canada on April 28
March 24The Storm finally releases their second album, Eye of the Storm, in North America.
April 18?The album Greatest Hits Live enters the Billboard Top 200 at #79 (its peak).
April ?After eleven years of not being on the road Journey announces that they will perform live in concert in Japan.
May 3Steve Perry records two songs, "I Stand Alone" and "United We Stand" for the Quest for Camelot soundtrack.
May 7After months of speculation Steve Perry finally makes the announcement that he and Steve Smith are no longer with the band and that Journey has hired new lead singer Steve Augeri and drummer Deen Castronovo.
May 15The movie Quest for Camelot is released.

July 1The movie Armageddon is released to theatres, which becomes the biggest grossing movie of the year (so far).
